Banca Românească S.A. Membră a Grupului National Bank of Greece has at present a lending limit available until the end of the year 2014 of approximately 190 million lei for the First House program. The interest rate for the loans granted by Banca Românească in the First House program is formed of ROBOR at 3 months plus a fixed margin of 2,5%.

"Banca Româneasca clients can contract, until the end of December, total loans of approximately 190 million lei through the First House program. The funds are sufficient for the current level of the demand", states Dan Grigoriu, Head of Retail Products and Segments Division, Banca Românească.

According to the regulations in force, for the acquisition of finished dwellings, including those built by the National Housing Agency (ANL), the maximum financed value is 57.000 euro (lei equivalent) and for the loans for the acquisition of new dwellings, meant to be bought when finished, the maximum limit is 66.500 euro (lei equivalent). Banca Româneasca clients benefit of a low contribution (advance payment of minimum 5% of the loan value), no commissions, financial preapproval valid for 90 calendar days .

"If we refer to the profile of people accessing the First House program, we talk about young people with the age between 30 and 35, generally high school graduates, that choose for loans with an average value of 155.000 lei (35.000 euro equivalent) and for a 30-year reimbursement period. Over 90% of Banca Româneasca debtors from the First House program bought two or three rooms flats", states Dan Grigoriu, Head of Retail Products and Segments Division, Banca Românească.

Since the start of the First House government program, in 2009, Banca Românească granted, until the end of august 2014, over 5.200 loans. Banca Românească has at preset a 4,2% share of the loans market granted through the First House program.
