Use the Shopping Smart Card and enjoy Smart Installments without interest!


How can one benefit of installments when shopping?

  1. You can choose installments without interest in the shops signaled with the logo "Mastercard - Payment in installments" at the moment of shopping, for minimum 200 Lei.
  2. You can request by phone an installment plan or activate the automatic service of payment in installments without interest for shopping of minimum 200 lei, made in the country or abroad (including on-line payments).

1. You can benefit of installments directly in the shop, when the payment is made, in the shops signaled with the logo "Mastercard - Payment in installments", without calling Customer Assistance Service.


Depending on the merchant, one can choose the wanted number of installments without interest or cost for the activation of the installments plan from a predefined installments interval, set by the Bank:

2. Besides paying in installments directly in shop, you can request the activation of the installments plans by calling the Customer Assistance Service at 021.304.81.00. There are two possibilities:

  • manual - through which you choose the shopping for which you want installment reimbursement. Thus, you must call each time the Customer Assistance Service at 021.304.81.00 after the registration of the shopping in the credit card account so that the Bank's representative should activate the wanted installment plan. With only one call you can activate more installment plans.
  • automatic - it gives you the possibility to activate before making the shopping the service through which for all shopping of minimum 200 lei the Bank will apply the appropriate Installment Plan. You can always call the Customer Assistance Service at 021.304.81.00 in order to cancel this service.

The number of available installments by calling the Customer Assistance Service is:

The activation cost of the Installments Plan applies to the value of the initial transaction and it is included in the value of the monthly installment, as follows:

At any moment, you have the possibility to cancel an installment plan; the applied cost is 20 lei/canceled plan.


The conditions for the manual activation of the installments plan are:

  • The value of the shopping to be at least 200 lei
  • Not to have arrears at the request time
  • The credit card not to be blocked or closed at the request time
  • The activation request NOT to be made later than the issuance of the statement following the one in which the shopping is included
  • The shopping not to be totally paid at the request time
  • To have money available in the account, to cover the value of the activation cost
  • The transaction value and the total value of the activation fee for the installment plan not to exceed the value of the granted credit limit

What is useful to know?

  • The installment payment does not apply to cash withdrawals.
  • You can monthly check in the statement of account the value of the monthly installment, the minimum payment amount that also includes the value of the installment, as well as the number of installments to be paid
  • The active installments plans can be cancelled at any time by calling the Customer Assistance Service
  • A cancelled installment plan CANNOT be reactivated
  • If you chose automatic installments you CANNOT ask for manually-activated installment plans
  • You can benefit of both options of installment payment (directly at the merchant or by calling 021.304.81.00 - Customer Assistance Service).
